What's up everyone! I am embarking on a 45 day journey to not only transform my body but also my mind. To think differently on how I see myself and how I approach life and my health. I am not getting any younger and I have come to terms with it. But what I cannot accept is my current state of health, not that I am super unhealthy but I could definitely do better. I’ve found that you must have a reason WHY a change must take place. My WHY is my kids, and also it wouldn't be fair for my wife to be the only one losing her sh*t from time to time. But hey, that's what it means to be a hands-on parent. I have to be there for them. No ifs, ands, or buts about it! It’s important that I lead by example with my kids, showing them that your health must be a priority. I want to be able to chase them around without cramping up within a minute. Of course, I may just need to drink more water ... at least that's what I keep telling myself. I was in my early 30's when my daughter was born. We waited a little later than some to have children and I would not trade that for anything, because I feel that with age comes wisdom (even though my wife says I am still waiting on that). I feel I must give my all to my family. I must be my best self and so that is why I am doing the “Dad Bod Challenge”. I want to really be the Super Dad my daughter sees in me and the well trimmed man my wife fell in love with more than 15 years ago.
